Florida Healthcare Specialists (FHS) is a division practice of Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), an independent oncology/hematology physician practice with locations throughout Florida.
Through its affiliation with FCS, Florida Healthcare Specialists is able to offer distinct advantages to our patients, including:

Hugo H. Davila, MD
A board-certified urologist and Clinical Assistant Professor at Florida State University, College of Medicine, Dr. Hugo Davila completed his surgery and urology training at University of South Florida and Moffitt Cancer Center. He currently practices at Florida Healthcare Specialists (an affiliate practice of Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute) and Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.
Dr. Davila is a leading physician researcher, having previously completed clinical studies on fibrosis, aging and nitric oxide, which were published in prestigious journals, such as Biology of Reproduction, Cardiovascular Research, Urology and British Journal of Urology.

Cathyleen Filippi, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with extensive nursing experience, Cathyleen is deeply committed to providing quality care and advocating for her patients and their families.
Cathyleen graduated magna cum laude from Indian River State College, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She received her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Central Florida.
Prior to joining Florida Healthcare Specialists, Cathyleen worked as a registered nurse in the emergency department and in the outpatient surgery center at Sebastian River Medical Center, Sebastian FL. She began her nursing career as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, FL and later served on a team providing care to over 1,700 military veterans at the VA Clinic in Vero Beach, FL.
